About Me
My name is Aarya Thakkar, I am 18 years old and I am currently a Sophomore at the University of Texas at Dallas, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration.
Travel
As somebody who has lived in 2 different countries and 4 different states, I love to travel. I have traveled to over 10 different countries and am continuing to travel as much possible. I love learning about new cultures, exploring historical sites and experiencing what different parts of the world have to offer. It is my favorite way to create memories with the people I love all while doing something enjoyable.
Music
Although I do not enjoy trying to create my own music, I listen to music like no one else. It helps me stay focused on my task at hand by cutting out distractions, it entertains me on my long drives, and it also makes time go faster when I am bored. I mainly listen to rap/hip-hop, and R&B and try to attend as many concerts as I can to enjoy the music in a better way.
Future
Currently, I am looking for an internship that would enable me to learn as much as I can and receive a better insight to the banking industry. Through my life I have always received exposure to banking but on a branch-level so I have a great understanding on how banks work and what happens on that level. I would love a future helping larger businesses, managing investments, and helping international clients.
